Dark and Twisty Stories with Heart and Humour

I write about reckless girls in broken worlds with gifts that will be the death of them. But life isn’t all doom and gloom, so my books are also sprinkled with humour and jam packed with magic, much like a really good doughnut. Bon appétit!

THE CLEARING is my dystopian debut, published by Evernight Teen. It’s perfect for fans of Hunger Games, with inspiration from The Handmaid’s Tale and Minority Report—I wrote it at university after studying dystopian fiction. It focuses on Ruby’s struggles in a stagnant village with a fast-paced story that explores difficult choices and the cost of fighting for your beliefs in a corrupt world.
